Anton J. Stewart, Managing Attorney
Anton is a seasoned lawyer with years of experience practicing in the United States and overseas. He successfully closed numerous international deals on behalf of his clients and resolved commercial disputes involving doctors and their businesses. Most importantly, Anton helped multiple physicians and dentists set up their practices from scratch, assisted doctors with leaving their current employers when the need came, and oversaw practice sales for his medical clients.
As the firm's founding attorney, Anton puts client service and client budget above any other concerns within the ethical limits of the Texas legal profession. He carefully listens to your plans, wishes, and concerns and tailors his advice to your unique needs, taking into account any foreseeable changes in the regulatory and business environment. Anton's ultimate goal is to remain in your service for life and beyond, helping you start your business, overseeing its needs as it grows through our combined effort, planning for your retirement when the time comes, and proactively preparing for the unexpected to secure a seamless passage of your legacy.
Having worked in an international corporate environment for a long time, Anton learned not only how to provide impeccable legal services but also how to adapt the provision of those services to the constraints of a fixed budget. That is why The Stewart Firm's billing practices adjust to each individual client, rather than apply the widespread hourly-fee-fits-all approach.
Anton was born and raised in Russia and obtained his first law degree, with first-class honors, from one of the top ranked universities in the country in 2006. He graduated with an LL.B. with Merit from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom in 2011 and obtained his J.D. with Honors from Emory University in Atlanta in 2017. After receiving his license, Anton practiced as a transactional attorney with concentration in health law in the Houston Metro Area. In his spare time, Anton enjoys travelling, both around the country and internationally, reading, and patronizing Houston Opera and Symphony.
